Abstract
The preserved land deeds are the most direct historical materials for studying land dealing and the land price in the ancient times.The deeds for land of the Qing Dynasty preserved by the Zhang family of Shulu County(Xinji city,Hebei Province today) show the clear condition of land dealing of a family in the Qing Dynasty.The price fluctuation of the land was influenced by many factors: the social turbulence,the land's fat or thin conditions,the civil connected land's location and use,good or bad of the year's harvest and many other factors.
