EVALUATION ON ORAL HEALTH STATUS OF WORKERS IN EDUCATION SYSTEM IN 2010

Abstract

[Objective]To regulate oral health education,to help workers in the education system master the proper oral health care knowledge and practice good oral hygiene habits,to investigate oral health status of workers,master the oral health status.[Methods]Carried out census mode,referred oral health survey methods recommended by WHO,analyzed oral health checks for workers.[Results]The incidence of oral abnormalities was 50.34% in all workers. The oral abnormalities of male and female workers were analyzed by χ2 test,the difference was not statistically significant(P﹥0.05);the number of periodontal disease was 599,caries 553,751 cases of dental defect or absence,poor oral status 540 cases(P﹤0.05). The workers with poor oral status in the different age groups were different,the difference was statistically significant.[Conclusion]Good health habits can improve the oral health status of workers. Periodontal disease,tooth decay are the focus of prevention and control in the future,measures should be taken to raise employee’s awareness of oral health,and culture a proper oral hygiene habits.
