Study on Ecological Compensation in the Development of Yancheng Coastal Wetlands

Coastal wetland is not only the important wetland resources,but also the important environmental resources.Yancheng coastal wetland in is the largest muddy beach on the west coast of the Pacific,and have much ecological value.Ecological compensation is one of the effective ways to protect coastal wetland resources positively.Through the understanding of ecological compensation between the subject and object about the coastal wetland resources in Yancheng,and the relationship between subject and object,based on the coastal wetland ecological compensation accounting formula was established to calculate Yancheng coastal wetlands needing ecological compensation 2313631.63 yuan in 2007.The ecological compensation issues,such as Subject and object from the definition of compensation,compensation standards and methods,safeguards,and ecological management and so on in Yancheng coastal wetlands developing were discussed.
