Abstract
In order to research the role of Scopus in Journal evaluation, the authors took the journals of Information Science and Library Science as example, conducted correlational analysis with SPSS between JCR impact factor and Scopus impact factor, between JCR immediacy index and Scopus immediacy index, between SJR based on the Scopus database and JCR impact factor. The results showed significant correlations, indicating that it is feasible for Scopus to serve as a tool of evaluating Informa-tion Science and Library Science journals to some extent.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
