Study on Degradation of Chlorpyrifos and Bifenthrin Indoor and Outdoor and the Chemistry Barrier in Soil

Abstract

The indoor and outdoor degradation of chlorpyrifos and bifenthrin in soil were studied and the period of effectiveness of chlorpyrifos and bifenthrin were precicted.[Methods] The residue and the biological activity of chlorpyrifos and bifenthrin in soil was determined by GC and soil penetrated,respectively.[Results] The half-lives of chlorpyrifos in soil indoor and outdoor were 51.3,39.5 d,respectively and of bifenthrin were 31.3,44.5 d,respectively.The minimum inhibitory concentrations of chlorpyrifos and bifenthrin were 6.15,5.78 mg/kg,respectively.It was predicted that the period of effectiveness of chlorpyrifos and bifenthrin iodoor were 195,29.1 d,respectively and outdoor were 158.4,56.1 d,respectively.[Conclusions] The theoretical basis for control of termite is provided.
