Abstract

The photosynthetic characters of rice were different in different plant populations. With the decrease of population, the chlorophyll content and specific leaf weight increased; while the net assimilation rate decreased for a short time; the maximum population growth rate was postponed; plants were well ventilated and high in photosynthetic rate.
