Abstract
Discourse pragmatics is the study of deixis (at least in part), implicature, presupposition, speech acts, and aspects of discourse structure. This paper analyses the function of discourse and the basic contests of discourse analysis, pragmatics through the approaches of speaking analysis theory, social ethnology theory and interactive socio- pragmatics theory.
