Abstract

The root tip cells of Lolium perrenne L.,Avena sativa L.and F.arundinacea Schr.,which belong to the Gramineae are studied on researching their chromosome numbers and karyotypesy.The results showed that: Lolium perrenne L.is diploid,2N=2X=42,the karyotype formula of the chromosome is 2N=2X=18m(2SAT) +18sm+6st,and the karyotype is 2C;Avena sativa L.is diploid,2N=2X=28,the karyotype formula of the chromosome is 2N=2X=26m+2sm,the karyotype is 2B;And F.arundinacea Schr.is diploid too,2N=2X=36,the karyotype formula of the chromosome is 2N=2X=20m+16sm,and the karyotype is 2B.
