Abstract

The water and sediment flux of Yellow River during water and sediment regulation experiment increased nearly 10 times. In this paper, according to the numerical sediment simulation during Yellow River water and sediment regulation in 2005,combined with the collected satellite photo interpretation of Yellow River mouth, the research results show that water and sediment flux increased dramatically after the start of experiment, because of the terrain and jet flow effect. The sediment out of estuaries formats the E and SE sediment flow, but the limited scope shows the sector with the center of estuaries and the greatest impact area is about 20km 40km.Wind as the driving force of suspended sediment diffusion is an important determining factor of the direction and size.
