Abstract

[Objective]To study the relation between symptoms of patients with non-ulcer dyspepsia (NUD) and gastric motility disorder.[Methods]The changes of gastric emptying before and after administration of promoting gastric motility agent (Madinlin) were observed in 60 patients with NUD by ultrasonography,in order to study the relation between symptoms of NUD and gastric motility.[Results]The gastric emptying delay occurred in 46.67% of NUD patients, which was closely related to the symptoms of NUD (early satiety, abdominal distension and eructation). The promoting gastric motility agent can improve the gastric emptying time and some symptoms.[Conclusion]The symptoms of nearly half of NUD patients were related to gastric motility disorder.
