Aesthetics is the science that researches the aesthetic relation between man and reality,which regards art as center.The aesthetic relation is that the object that forms in long social practice can satisfy human needs and man also requests the special relation between man and reality that object can satisfy his own aesthetic need.The characteristic of aesthetic relation mainly is: surpassing utilitarian;surface image;emotional infection.Aesthetic scope is regulated three aspects by the aesthetic relation between man and reality: the research of aesthetic object(aesthetic sense);the search of aesthetic subject(beauty);the research of aesthetic creation(art).Aesthetics is a kind of humanities and its final aim is to cultivate and bring up overall,free developmental man.In social practice aesthetics both has close connection and clear difference with human other intellectual systems and subjects,then it forms aesthetic nature of cross subject or interdisciplinary subject.Aesthetics has the closest connection with philosopher in the course of its form and then it decides aesthetic philosophical nature.In the course of the research of the aesthetic relation between man and reality,because the reality includes different aspects of nature,society(others),self(ego),aesthetics produces different aesthetic embranchment subjects.
