Abstract
In order to study the pathogenesis of crude toxin produced by S.solani, the basic properties of toxin produced by S.solani were preliminarily analyzed by toxin activity analysis method. The results showed that the S.solani toxin was a non-protein micromolecular matter with strong polarity.Pathogenic activity of toxin was unchanged after treated with high temperature.Strong acid and alkali could enhance and inhibit the activity of crude toxin, respectively whereas toxin was stable in weak acid or alkali condition.Osmotic potential of solvent did not affect the bioassay of crude toxin, and the toxin couldn't be absorbed by the activated carbon.Through testing the possible functional groups of crude toxin, the results indicated that there were some esters and amino compounds in the crude toxin, but no phenols, saccharides and alkaloid in the crude toxin.
