Abstract
Based on the deeply research of PACS architecture,considering the deficiencies of the architecture based on the traditional PACS which are based on specialized workstations and an architecture of closed systems,through an analysis into distributed object technology,propose distributed PACS system architecture based on distributed object technology,introduce three-tire client/server framework of distributed object technology into the architecture of PACS,present and analyze key technologies of distributed PACS.Adopting distributed architecture can shorten the development period of PACS,and make flexible,extensible and efficient in its operation and design.
