Abstract
Objective:To detect the expression of P-170 in astrocytes and capillary endothelial in brains of SD rats kindled by Coriaria Lactone. Methods:The rats was observed by identifying the seizure stages and the expression of P-170 in the brains of all rats was tested by immunohistochemistry method.Result:Compared with unkindled rats and placebo rats, the expression of the P-170 staining in the brain samples of kindled rats were significantly increased. No dose relation has been observed in the staining area of P-170 in astrocytes of the brain samples from kindled rats(P0.05).Conclusion Kindling SD rats induced by intramuscular injection of CL can be used as an animal models of intractable epilepsy.
