Abstract
To be well prepared for the attacks from the botnet,the future botnet should be researched that might come to exist based on the activities of the existing botnets.This paper proposed a novel botnet model based tree structure and analyzed the propagation,communication and control mechanisms of this new type botnet.Our simulation shows that this new botnet shares the property of the small world and has robust connectivity.For the typical characteristic of the tree structure botnet model,an intensive study was made of its detection and control technology,providing useful reference for botnet defense research.
