Abstract
To use those advantages of iSCSI storage system,such as it hasn'tdistance limitations,huge capacity,easy expansibility and better transfers performance,reduce operations directly on the storage devices in order to improve the transfer speed,a high performance buffer mechanism is proposed.This mechanism avoided operating directly on the storage devices.By using the high performance buffer mechanism,the iSCSI system has shorter the number of operating directly on the storage devices,faster the response time and higher the performance of iSCSI system.Finally,a case study of testing with network simulator NS-2 is presented to verify the feasibility of the method.
