Abstract
The reaction of graft copolymerization of MMA onto corn starch is studied. The concentration of HNO_3 is 0.1mol/L,together with the mass ration of CAN to starch is 1/6 and that of MMA to starch is 3/2 are found to be the best reaction condition.Meanwhile,it is found that monomer free radicals may be produced not only by initiation of CAN directly, but also by the chain transfer reaction from starch free radicals or the free radicals of the starch graft copolymer.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
