Abstract
The private economy lost its existence after the socialism reform in 1956 in China. Start from the reform of countryside in 1978, the private economy in China witnessed its fast development and kept a high annual grow rate of nearly 30%, becoming an important component of China's socialist economy. Its gradual development forms a specific path in transition of China's institution.
