Abstract
The influence of different amount of gypsum on the modified Portland cement prepared by mixing phosphoaluminate cement with Portland cement was studied. The results showed that the mechanical properties and freeze-thaw resistance of the modified Portland cement could be improved by gypsum;and the best result, including the rate of hydration, the structure density of the hardened paste, the compression strength, and freeze-thaw resistance would be presented,if the 3.5% of gypsum has been added.
