Abstract
Orthogonal frequency division multiplex(OFDM) is a superior modulation technology which has high spectrum efficiency. The basic principle of OFDM and its application in optical communications are introduced. The architectures of high speed optical communications using OFDM are analyzed, and the key technologies of the system are discussed. Finally, the structure and principle of ACO-OFDM is analyzed in detail, and the application prospect of OFDM is forcasted.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
