Abstract
As a fundamental design course of art design, decorative painting should have specialty features. The main problems in decorative painting teaching are as follows: the teaching content lacks aim, follows teaching contents years ago,and has no teaching features;the single teaching model results in similar creative thoughts, and their works lack personalities;it ignores connections with other courses. Thus we should adjust teaching contents to practice, adopt multiple teaching models, focus on teaching requirements of different specialties, and change teaching methods.
