Abstract
The microwave amplifier requires higher linearity along with the development of 3G-communication technology.In this paper,the characteristic of microwave amplifier’s nonlinear distortion is analyzed.Several technologies to improve microwave power amplifier’s linearization are introduced.The advantages and disadvantages of all technologies are presented.At last,a W-CDMA linear amplifier is developed basing on the back-off technology,and the testing result is offered as well.
