An Analysis of How to Improve College English Listening Teaching

In English teaching,listening teaching is always the weak link.For students,listening comprehension has always been a difficult part.Therefore,improving the effectiveness of college English listening teaching is imperative.This paper talks about the factors that affect the listening teaching and analyzes the demerits and deficiencies of the listening teaching,then puts forward the suggestions of teaching reform,mainly from pre-listening activities,classroom activities,listening materials,listening skills,and after-school tasks,etc.so as to enhance the students' listening competence.
