Abstract

An experiment was carried out in a greenhouse of China Agricultural University in 2001 to study the effect of Nitrogen(N),Phosphorus(P),Potassium(K) fertilizsers applied on the dry matter(DM) yield and height of alfalfa,establishing the first year with seed ofQueenalfalfa in flowerpot with a incomplete randomized design.The result showed that the DM yield and height of alfalfa increased significantly(p0.05)compared with control groups in all treatments,and the DM yield was gained more with N fertilizers maximal application,and P,K fertilizers moderate application.
