Numerical Analysis of Local Heat Transfer Enhancement for High Temperature Heat Pipe Heat Exchanger

Abstract

High temperature heat pipe heat exchanger consists of heat pipes containing different working medium.In the different temperature region,heat pipes with the different working medium are linked up safely by controlling of the vapor temperature inside heat pipe.The vapor temperatures inside heat pipe depend on the fluid temperature distribution outside heat pipes and the heat transfer capacities of heat pipes.Meanwhile,the heat transfer capacities of heat pipe affect the fluid temperature distribution outside heat pipe.In order to coordinate vapor temperature in heat pipe,numerical analysis of local heat transfer enhancement for high temperature heat pipe heat exchanger has been presented,the fluid temperature field outside heat pipe in high temperature heat pipe heat exchanger has been predicted accurately in virtue of the novel CFD technology,and then the design of high temperature heat pipe heat exchangers can be more economical and credible.
