Abstract

Through the research of the process mineralogy characteristics of an iron ore tailing in Yunnan,such characteristics as iron-bearing ore types,symbiosis relation and fine dissemination size of the useful components were mastered.Furthermore,the feasibility of the mineral processing technology for the iron ore was analyzed.On this basis,the combined technological flowsheet of whole intensity magnetic separation and high-intensity magnetic separation-gravity separation and high-intensity magnetic separation-flotation was adopted to recover the valuable iron ore.The research results show that when the flowsheet of whole intensity magnetic separation and high intensity magnetic separation was adopted,the good indexes with the grade of iron concentrate of 58.13% and the recovery of 63.15% could be obtained.What's more,the equipment is very simple and can work efficiently with the resources to be used reasonably.
