Abstract

Based on Schopenhauer's philosophy,Wang Guowei's comments on of Red Mansions is one of the early important works about Neo-redology.this paper preliminarily discusses how Wang Guowei's thoughts resonate with Schopenhauer's philosophy and Dream of Red Mansions,at the same time explores the advantages and disadvantages of this comments in the way of philosophical interpretation.
