Abstract
Acupuncture and moxibustion courses are the base for nurturing professionals of Acupuncture and moxibustion in colleges and universities of Chinese medicine. How to increase teaching quality of such courses is an urgent task under the general background of enlarged enrollment nowadays. This paper suggests that elementary techniques chapter should be added in the course of meridians and acu-points, the course of experimental acupuncture and moxibustion should be offered ahead of time so that students' interest to learn can be stimulated. In addition, we should offer more chance for students to do clinical practice, especially we should urge them to practice needling during learning hours on campus and reform examination method on needling and tuina courses. It is also very important to stress nurturing high quality students at the same time.
