On the Folk Myths of Miao Nationality

Abstract

Miao is one of the nationalities with a long history in our country.A lot of Miao myths show the historic scenes of Miao people’s brave struggle.In one legend the Miao forefather,Pan Hu,killed the general in Wu kingdom and got his head,so he was conferred a title of the guard-general on and married the princess.Miao people are brave,intelligent and hard working.The heroes are the outstanding representative of them.
