A "Position balance" is a problem to be solved in the development of the men’s basketball team of China

The author compared and analyzed core technical indexes of the men’s basketball team of China in critical games in the Asian Championships 2009 and the East Asian Games,probed into the deep reasons for why the men’s basketball team of China with body height advantage and inner ring strengths always failed to achieve satisfying competition results in major international games in these years,and put forward that pursuing the balanced development of technical and tactical capacities at various positions on the basketball court to form an inner and outer ring strengths combined team advantage is a fundamental problem that should be solved primarily in the development of the men’s basketball team of China.
