Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical value of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP) in the differential diagnosis of chest distress and dyspnea. Methods:Determined plasma NT-pro BNP concentration by Colloidal Gold in 120 patients with chest distress and dyspena, who were divided into two groups:Cardiac and un-Cardiac.The plasma NT-pro BNP concentration were compared in the two group. Results:The plasma NT-pro BNP concentration was significantiy higher in group cardiac than group un-cardiac(P0.05);in group cardiac, the plasma NT-pro BNP concentration was negatively correlated with heart function class(P0.05).Conclusion:The plasma plasma NT-pro BNP concentration was helpful in the differential diagnosis of chest distress and dyspnea.
