On the Formation of Moral Concepts under the Socialist Market Economy

The establishment of China's socialist market economic system requires people's thoughts and morals to change the state of abnormality and disorder in order to be adapted to the healthy development of socialist market economy. The double effects of market economy on the moral establishment and the inner character of socialism provide the formation of new moral concepts with directions and principles. The moral concepts in the new period, a combination of concepts of socialist morality and market economy, should be the concepts that not only can be adapted to and improve the development of market economy, but also can limit, overcome and rectify bad effects on mark economy, and exceed the limitations of market economy ethics. In order to establish socialist morality with the core of collectivization, people need to combine market economy concepts and collectivization concepts reasonably.
