Abstract
Objective:To optimize the extraction process of the root of scutellaria baicalensis georgi so as to improve the extracting content of baicalin. Methods:By adopting orthogonal experimental design, the content of baicalin extracting from root of scutellaria baicalensis georgi was used as the assessment index, The 3 parameters including amount of water used for extraction(A), time for extraction(B) and times for extraction(C) were studied. Results:The optimal conditions for the extraction were A 2B 3C 3. Conclusion:With an amount of 8 times of water for 1.5 hours and 3 times of extractions, the extracting rate of baicalin can reach as high as 88.5%.
