Abstract

How to connect, transfer force, work collaboratively between the joints is the key problem for the precast reinforced concrete structures. Specifically,it is mainly involved with the connection of the steel bar and the disposal of the concrete interface. Based on the existing experiments, the spring element in ANSYS software was utilized to simulate the interface model of concrete and conduct a nonlinear finite element analysis of wall slab joints. Compared with the experimental results, the simulated results show good agreement, which validates the rationality of the finite element model and the calculation parameters. The influence of strength and anchor forms of connecting steel bars on the mechanical behavior of joints was also investigated. The research results demonstrate that the wall slab joints of precast shear wall structures possess a good bearing capacity, which can achieve a similar seismic performance with the cast- in- situ structure components for the case of reliable joints connection.
