Abstract

The fracture reason of the drive shaft was analyzed by fracture observation,chemical composition analysis,metallurgical structure observation and hardness test.The results show that the fracture is mainly caused by the abnormal metallurgical structure after quenching and tempering.According to analytic result,the suggestion is put forward.
