Production Cost Management System Based on ERP/MES in a Special Steel Enterprise

Abstract

Aiming at increasing core competitive power and make lean production,the special steel enterprise demands of all-round cost control and elaborate,this paper presents a ERP/MES oriented cost management model.The production cost management system which adopting J2EE platform uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) and ROSE modeling tool to analyze and design the system functions,and it is based on the ERP/MES.At present this system has been developed and used in a certain special steel enterprise,which has been proved to meet the demands of alleviating the workload,enhancing cost control and serving for management decision-making.
