The Effect of Enhanced UV-B Radiation to the Growth of Ulva Pertusa Kjellman and Platymonas Helgolandica Kylin var.Tsingtaoensis

Abstract

In this thesis,the responds of Ulva pertusa Kjellman and Platymonas helgolandica Kylin var.tsingtaoensis to UVB radiation were studied by Indoor Emulative Experiment.The result were showed as follows: First,four different UVB radiation doses could inhibit the growth of Ulva pertusa Kjellman,but low UVB radiation doses could stimulate the growth of Platymonas helgolandica Kylin var.tsingtaoensis and high one could inhibit the growth of it when they were cultured alone.And the result would vary from the original inoculating density.Second,with the increasing original inoculating density and higher doses of UVB radiation treatment,the growth of Ulva pertusa Kjellman was obviously inhibited by Platymonas helgolandica Kylin var.tsingtaoensis.Compared with that in mixing culture,not only Platymonas helgolandica Kylin var.tsingtaoensis was greatly effected,but also Ulva pertusa showed that the growth was inhibited more observably under UVB radiation treatment.
