Abstract
Membranes of ZSM5 zeolite were obtained by one step in situ hydrothermal synthesis on surfaces of both porous (α)Al_(2)O_(3) tubes and industrial Rasching ring. During the hydrothermal treatment continuous NaZSM5 zeolite membranes were formed on two kinds of carriers at the crystallizing temperature of 180 ℃ and the crystallizing time of 120 h, which was testified by X-ray diffraction (XRD). Scanning electron microscope(SEM) analysis shows that the carriers surfaces are completely covered by well grown ZSM5 zeolite membranes with grain size of 20—30 μm and thickness of about 20 μm. The crystals and the carriers are combined strongly.Differences of morphologies for ZSM5 zeolite membranes on different carriers were also investigated in detail.
