Genotyping of ABO Blood Group

Abstract

Objective:To study the significance of ABO genotyping.Methods:The methods of polymerase chain reaction-sequence specific primers(PCR-SSP) was used to genotype ABO blood group.Results:Patient,whose ABO blood group could not be determined by the routine serological method,were readily detected by PCR-SSP.Conclusion:The method of ABO genotyping may correct typing for doubt sample of ABO serological typing.
