Abstract
Objective To compare the mid-long term effects of 110℃ pingyangmycin-lipiodol chemoembolization and pingyangmycin-lipiodol chemoembolization at room temperature in the treatment for liver hemangiomas. Methods A total of 48 patients with liver hemangiomas preparing for interventional therapy were chosen. All patients were randomly divided into the experimental group(n=24)with 110℃ pingyangmycin-lipiodol intra-aryerial chemoembolization and the control group(n=24)with pingyangmycin-lipiodol intra-aryerial chemoembolization at room temperature. All the patients were followed-up 6months—5years after operation, and the changes of tumor volume and clinical symptoms were observed. Results The efficacy rates of the experimental group 6 months—1years,1—3years,3—5years after operation,was73.68%(28/38),92.11%(35/38),92.31%(24/26),respectively,and 62.50%(20/32),81.25%(26/32),84.62%(22/26)respectively in control group, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(all P0.05),the decreased rates of 26 tumors in experimental group with long term follow-up was(65.96±25.24)%,(81.38±20.68)%,(90.12±19.59)%,respectively,and then, which was(50.15±24.47)%,(67.69±26.02)%,(77.58±25.18)%in control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P0.05).Conclusion The curative effects of110℃ pingyangmycin-lipiodol chemoembolization for liver hemangiomas are better than that of pingyangmycin-lipiodol chemoembolization at room temperature.
