Abstract
As one of sustainable traffic modes embodyingPublic Transportation PriorityandPeople First, Bus Rapid Transit(BRT)has been one effective way to solve urban traffic problem with its outstanding charac- teristics such as high capacity,low energy consumption,high speed,environment protection,comfortable and safe to ride.Because of some problems existing in buses,this paper introduces BRT systemic,to make analysis of the necessity and feasibility,and to give corresponding proposals of the development of BRT in our country.
