Pigging Technology and Improvement of Pigging Tools for Korla-Shanshan Oil Pipeline

Abstract

The pigging operation of Korla-Shanshan Oil Pipeline from its commissioning is introduced in this paper. Based on actual pigging operation of the pipeline, the pigging technology and pigging tools are improved. The authors consider that the improved pigging technology and pigging tools is more suitable for the pigging operation,which enhances the safety and efficiency of the pigging operation.
