Abstract

Presupposition is divided into semantic and pragmatic presupposition.Semantic presupposition studies truth value of a sentence within the framework of the classical logic.Pragmatic presupposition depending on context studies the relevance between the speakers and the suitability of relative sentences within the framework of the pragmatic logic.They complement each other.
