Finite Element Analysis of Box of Garbage Dump Truck with Cover Plate

Abstract

Based on the using condition of a garbage dump truck with cover plate,the paper identified four limit working conditions such as impacting condition on rough pavement with full load,emergency braking condition,emergency turning condition and lifting condition,analyzed them with finite element software according to the four conditions. The calculation results show that the garbage truck carriage is safe,and can meet the design requirements. It is helpful for design of garbage truck,and then the design cycle is shortened.
