Application of Nanofiltration Membrane Technology to Industrial Wastewater Treatment

Nanofiltration membrane filtration technique was a liquid separation technology,with the benefit of high efficiency,energy consumption and easy operation.Compared to traditional methods of wastewater treatment,membrane technology had more advantages such as better treatment effect,the recycle of wastewater and recovery of useful materials.The characteristics and development of nanofiltration membrane separation techniques were introduced respectively with focus on the industrial treatment of wastewater containing heavy metal ions,as well as wastewater of textile printing and dyeing industry,food processing industry,landfill leachate and other industries.In addition,the prospect of the nanofiltration membrane technology was also discussed in this paper.
