Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect and security of preventing stress response to tracheal intu- bations with Esmolol. Methods: 60 cases of ASA Ⅰ~Ⅱ were randomly divided into three groups, in which different dose of esmolol were given before induced anesthesia: Group A (n=20): 1mg/kg Esmolol, Group B (n=20): 2 mg/kg Esmolol and Group C (n= 20): 10 ml Natrium chloride. Results:HR decreased after the uses of Esmolol in Group A and B (n0.05). HR and Bp increased insignificantly in Group A and B, but significantly in Group C (n0.01). Conclu- sion: Esmolol could effectively inhibit the stress response caused by intubations without significant hemodynamic changes.
