Current situation of art education to non-art major students at higher vocational colleges and its countermeasures

Under the influence of traditional thinking set in education,there exist in China’s higher vocational colleges in various degree such problems as emphasizing specialty while overlooking quality,and stressing technical education while neglecting human accomplishment.Art education is an important approach to cultivating human accomplishment.Only by having a clear view on the current situation of art education to non-art major students at higher vocational colleges,changing the thinking on art education,enriching the form of art education,satisfying the needs of students to popular art,and enlarging the part-time teaching staff,can we solve the above-mentioned problems.
