Abstract
In 2006,at the M17 well in the C2k basalt,high-yield oil and gas reservoir in the flow meant that the Santanghu Basin Carboniferous volcanic rocks of oil and gas exploration and development of Tibetan began.Up to now,high-quality reserves of about 5000 × 104t have been identified,which has become the key areas of Turpan-Hami Oilfield which indicated the growth of oil and gas reserves and production capacity.The volcanic reservoir description constrained the oil and gas exploration and development.So different description technologies of volcanic rock reservior are introduced in the paper,which has guidance for serching of excellent reservior of this type and provides foundation for exploration and development of this type of reservior in SanTangHu Basin.
