Abstract
Objective: To explore the effect of age on semen quality.Method: The semen of 526 cases of male infertility patients in Urumqi were retrospectively.Analysis of recording: semen volume, sperm density, sperm activity rate,a sperm(%),a+b grade sperm(%),total number of sperm, the results on the basis of age were divided into 3 groups, namely 21-30 years(group 1),31-40(group 2),41-50(Group 3).Results: Semen volume: 3 group mean increased gradually, while no significant difference between the three groups; The density: 3 group means decreased gradually, while no significant difference between the three groups; The sperm count, sperm(a+b%),activity rate: a group of 2 mean than groups 1,3,while no significant difference between the three groups; The a sperm(%): the group of 2 has higher mean than groups 1,3,and between group 2 and group 3 the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion: The growth of the semen of male infertility patients with age to affect the movement of sperm.
