Abstract
It was studied the effect of sulfur content in diesel fuel on diesel smoke emission. 62 pieces of diesel vehicle were tested by filter paper smoke measurement method under free acceleration mode, compared the difference of exhaust smoke using two diffrence types of fuel, high sulfur diesel and low sulfur diesel.And it is found the lower the sulfur content,the lower the exhst smoke. And it was studied the effect of exhaust purification device on sulfuric acid salt contained in diesel exhaust particulate by engine test. And it is concluded Pd/γ-Al_2O_3 catalyst increase the content of sulfuric acid salt in exhaust particulates.
